Governor’s Message

As incoming Governor I am excited about the beginning of Kiwanis year for our clubs and district. It’s still raining and we are still dancing thanks to the leadership of Past Governor Roland. The storm clouds will eventually clear and things might not return to the way they were before.

I will be in touch with all of the Lieutenant Governors over the next two weeks to discuss how we can work together as a District to  strengthen our clubs.   At the District level there is energy and momentum behind supporting membership as well as having a deeper conversation around diversity and inclusion. We will be planning focused educational events throughout the year to support District initiatives.

As virtual meetings and events continue to be part of our reality I would be happy to attend any club function by Zoom  or other video conference platform used by your club. Please feel free to send me an invitation and I will participate unless double booked.

Let’s all look forward to getting together at our District Convention in Swift Current next  August. If you have any thoughts or suggestions for our District  please feel free to contact me anytime.

The New Year holds promise of better things to come and we will emerge stronger than ever.
